Other shop dogs

Meet Bertie. He hangs outside a flower shop in Dartmouth, chasing seagulls, eating fish and chips, crabbing and other seaside activities.

  3. Yes you must, we adopted a small gentle blue greyhound girl from the Retired Greyhound Trust and she is the sweetest companion to have around.

  4. Yes, yes and thrice yes. Greyhounds and lurchers make the most wonderful pets. You can get loads of information from various specialist websites www.lurcherlink.org is a good one for lurchers. full of information and homeless hounds as well.

I would never have thought of getting one until i went to my local animal shelter and found The Hound, he is the perfect breed for the shop very calm, adores people and contrary to what people think they don't need an awful lot of excerise.

They do like to curl up on the sofa with you, and sleep on the end of the bed.

  5. Excellent, my husband has given me permission, so I had two very nice people from the Lincolnshire Greyhound Trust round for a visit last night. They brought an adorable fellow with them, who promptly fell asleep in the middle of the living room floor and proceeded to leg twitch! I am off to view some adoptable hounds on Saturday morning and am getting very excited about buying beds, bowls, toys etc roll on Saturday!
